Little thing

The first few days of gym can be the most horrible period in a person’s gym life. IT is during this time that one develops all sorts of pain. The pains are so new and so many that it totally demoralizes the strongest of persons. The nagging pains seem very chronic and can lead one into thinking that he is injured. How ever you need not worry.

It is only natural that one develops this pain. Since your muscles are not used to this work, they tend to get damaged a bit. The repairing process creates an acid that causes this pain. As the days go by, your muscles start getting used to the weights and the repetition and pains slowly fade away. They will be back again if you increase your workout, but they become less bearable.

To make it easy for your body and mind to take the first few days of gym, you can start by lifting less heavy weights. How ever they should not be so light that you can barely feel them. You can increase the number repetitions with lighter weights. The more you lift, the more your muscles get used to the workout.

Hence more repetition ensures that you find your rhythm much faster. You may not find much of a difference in your appearance. But it is a very effective method to get you ready for the heavy workouts without putting a strain on your body and mind. If you are able to successfully pull through the first few days, you can be rest assured that you will go the distance.
